On Saturday, April 19, 36 CRAZYFISTS will celebrate "Record Store Day" by releasing "The Oculus", a three-song EP featuring two new tracks from the band's upcoming CD, "The Tide and Its Takers", PLUS an unreleased song that fans can't get anywhere else!

"The Oculus" EP contains "Absent Are The Saints" and "We Gave It Hell", from the May 27 release of "The Tide and Its Takers". The third track is titled "Criminal Justice", and was originally written and recorded by the Seattle band SATCHEL.

"Record Store Day" is being observed by over 375 independent music stores across the country.

Singer Brock Lindow comments: I have always had a big thing about supporting locally owned, independent, mom and pop stores. Independent record stores always have a cooler vibe, and you can usually find a bigger selection of underground gems in those spots."

36 CRAZYFISTS is currently on tour with DEVILDRIVER, NAPALM DEATH and INVITRO, and recently debuted the brand-new song "Absent Are The Saints" on MySpace.
